About Julián Ángel
Julián was born in Colombia. He is always searching inspiration from anywhere based on his experience as a designer, social media manager, photographer and product designer. Julián Ángel began his adventure back in 2015 via amateur baking and food photography passion with “Historias del Ciervo”, a project that combines diverse areas of visual art and home cooking, with a completely global vision accessible to anyone, crossing language and cultural barriers, thanks to the use of visual narratives and making the most of social media, to teach, transcend and innovate.
Julian has already hosted workshops all over the world including: Medellín, Bogotá, Barcelona, Paris, Jakarta, Abu Dhabi, Buenos Aires, San José, Singapore, Bangkok, Miami, New York, Monterrey, Ciudad de México, Lima, Santiago de Chile, Dubai.
Conditions and Fee
- Fee 2026:
One Day Class: $1560 USD per class. 12 students included.
An extra charge of 130 USD per student after 12. Max: 15 students.
Two Days Class: $2820 USD per class. 12 students included.
An extra charge of 235 USD per student after 12. Max: 15 students.
Terms & Conditions
2 classes minimum in America and Europe and 3 classes minimum in Asia and Africa.
Round Trip Flight departing from Medellin city in COLOMBIA. ( MDE Airport ) including 1 carry-on luggage and 1 checked-in bags. Window Seat and front raw.
Flights must be purchased at least 45 days before the class, and must be approved by Julian before purchasing. Only confirmed and commercial tickets allowed.
Payment for visa or documents related. If needed.
Accommodation (the nights of the Workshops + 2 additional nights in 4 stars Hotel Including breakfast). Option for 2 persons. The booking must be done with Julian’s own name.
All meals covered by host. Including lunch and dinner for all days. Or open check in the hotel. Or 50 usd daily covering meals.
Transportation Hotel – School – Hotel.
Maximum students per class: 15 students.
Classes are focused in decoration only. All the cakes and buttercream must be prepared by the host ahead. The recipe of the buttercream is mandatory. The cakes must be already layered, covered in plastic film and chilled to start the class. Depending on the design chosen, Julián will make a buttercream demonstration to start the class.
Each class is 8or 10 hours per day including 45 minutes for lunch break. Suggested time to start is 9 a.m.
Julián will need a personal assistant during each class, with basic knowledge and experience about cooking and baking.
